Meet the owner:
Eenos Henno, known as "Stoney," is the founder of Australia Sapphire (Gemestonia) and gemcutter, jeweller, and gemmologist based in Australia's renowned Queensland Gemfields.
Originally from the small Eastern European country of Estonia, Stoney has called Australia home for the past 15 years. Over the last decade, he has been actively involved in the sapphire and jewellery industry, developing extensive expertise in gemstone sourcing, precision faceting, and bespoke jewellery manufacturing.
Driven by a passion for natural Australian sapphires, Stoney specialises in transforming rough gemstones into exceptional finished pieces. His hands-on approach allows him to oversee every stage of production from sourcing ethically mined sapphires directly from Australian gemfields.
