Certificate can be done on per customer’s request. For certification, your chosen sapphire can be sent to a third-party, well-known laboratory, GSL, located in Sydney. Usual turnaround time varies, but in most cases takes about 2 weeks. Certification would cost 165 AUD per report, which includes what the stone is, its treatment, and locality.

The treatment of sapphires varies by stone. While most sapphires are untreated, some are normally heated, which is noted in each listing under the "Treatment" section.

Yes, every sapphire that is for sale on the website is 100% natural and mined in the Gemfields, Queensland Australia.

Yes, we own a workshop where we cut our stones and make jewellery. We do not outsource any step, everything is made by us.

Within Australia we are sending out our jewellery/sapphires by Australia Post Express Service signature on delivery. Usually takes 3 - 5 days Australia wide.

International shipping is handled by Global Team Express and usually takes between 7 to 14 days worldwide.

Each piece of jewellery is made to order within 7 days from the date of confirmation of the details.

Lifetime Jewellery Warranty Policy

At Australia Sapphire, we take pride in crafting high-quality jewellery designed to last a lifetime. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our pieces and are pleased to offer a Lifetime Warranty on all our jewellery.

Coverage

Our Lifetime Warranty covers the following manufacturing defects:

  • Loose or fallen gemstones due to faulty setting
  • Broken clasps, links, or chains due to workmanship errors
  • Structural integrity issues, such as prong failure or improper soldering
  • Discoloration or tarnishing due to material defects (excludes normal wear and tear)

Exclusions

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or fading
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper handling
  • Loss or theft of the jewelry piece
  • Any modifications or repairs done by a third party

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us – Reach out to our customer service team at info@australiasapphire.com.au. Provide your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  2. Assessment – Our team will assess whether the issue falls under the Lifetime Warranty coverage.
  3. Repair or Replacement – If covered, we will repair your jewelry at no cost. If a repair is not possible, we may offer a replacement of the same or similar item.
  4. Shipping – The customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from our repair center unless otherwise stated.

  • We recommend periodic professional inspections and maintenance to ensure your jewelry remains in optimal condition.
  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Australia Sapphire reserves the right to refuse warranty claims that do not meet the above criteria.
