The Amulet Pendant

The Amulet is defined by its intricate, interlocking wireframe halo. Rather than a solid disk of metal, Stoney designed a continuous pattern of overlapping loops that form a perfectly symmetrical, mandala-like framework around the centre stone.

The sapphire is suspended within this woven architecture by four delicate claws. The open footprint of the knotwork allows natural light to reach the stone from all angles, ensuring maximum brilliance from the 'Open Blue' sapphire while creating a visually striking, geometric silhouette against the skin.

Crafting this design requires absolute precision. The intertwining loops must cross over and under one another flawlessly. The interior angles are carefully hand-polished by Stoney before the stone is finally set, ensuring the entire talisman catches the light beautifully.
