Certificate can be done on per customer’s request. For certification, your chosen sapphire can be sent to a third-party, well-known laboratory, GSL, located in Sydney. Usual turnaround time varies, but in most cases takes about 2 weeks. Certification would cost 275 AUD per report, which includes what the stone is, its treatment, and locality.

Return Policy – Sapphires & Jewellery

At Australia Sapphire your satisfaction is important to us. We offer a 60-day return policy for loose sapphires to give you peace of mind when purchasing.

Eligibility for Returns

  Returns apply only to loose sapphires.

  Items must be returned within 60 days of the delivery date.

  Sapphires must be in their original condition, unworn, unmounted, and with all certificates and packaging included.

  Custom-made jewellery (including resized, engraved, or specially designed pieces) is non-returnable, unless there is a proven manufacturing fault.
  

Return Process

1. Contact us within 60 days to request a return authorization.
   
2. Pack the sapphire securely with all original packaging and certificates.
   
3. Ship via a secure, trackable, and insured service (return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility).
   
4. Once inspected and approved, we will process your refund within 7–10 business days.
   

Refunds

1) Refunds are made to the original payment method.

2) Shipping fees, customs duties, and taxes are non-refundable.

3) As soon as we receive your returned item(s), we will initiate a refund of the purchase price of your items within 7 days.

Coverage

Our Lifetime Warranty covers the following manufacturing defects:

• Loose or fallen gemstones due to faulty setting
• Broken clasps, links, or chains due to workmanship errors
• Structural integrity issues, such as prong failure or improper soldering
• Discoloration or tarnishing due to material defects (excludes normal wear and tear)

Exclusions

The Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear, including scratches, dents, or fading
• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper handling
• Loss or theft of the jewelry piece
• Any modifications or repairs done by a third party

Warranty does not cover chipped or damaged sapphires

Warranty Claim Process

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

1. Contact Us – Reach out to our customer service team at info@australiasapphire.com.au. Provide your proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
2. Assessment – Our team will assess whether the issue falls under the Lifetime Warranty coverage.
3. Repair or Replacement – If covered, we will repair your jewelry at no cost. If a repair is not possible, we may offer a replacement of the same or similar item.
4. Shipping – The customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from our repair center unless otherwise stated.

Additional Notes

• We recommend periodic professional inspections and maintenance to ensure your jewelry remains in optimal condition.
• This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
• Australia Sapphire reserves the right to refuse warranty claims that do not meet the above criteria.
